how to register

Stop! Read this first! There are significant registration changes from last year.

Unlike previous years:

  • Do not register all the projects from your school fair.  Only register the projects you are sending to YES Fair.  (Your finalists)
  • ONE project = ONE registration (with up to 3 team members listed on one registration form)
  • We suggest that in grades 7-8 and 9-12, teams huddle at one computer to submit their project registration together.
  • Students will need to copy/paste their abstract into the registration form.  250 words or less.

Do not register projects twice. register the project, not the students

  • Do not register projects twice
  • Even if there are multiple team members, we only want ONE project registration to be on the books.

Be mindful of spelling and capitalization

  • Awards and certificates are generated from the information provided on the project registration form.
  • If a name is misspelled on the form, the child's certificate will also be printed incorrectly.

5-6 grade science teachers

Attention 5-6 Grade Teachers: If you are registering the projects for your students, once the first project form is submitted, click the "Home" icon on the top-right of your screen.  Then choose "Options".  Then select, "Apply Again."  You may register multiple projects using your same email address.
