how to register

registration tips ~ new in 2026

  • ONE project  =  ONE registration (with up to 3 team members listed on one registration form)
  • Grades 5-8, Do not register all the projects from your school.  Only register the projects you are sending to YES Fair.  Use the chart toward the bottom of this page to calculate the project limit for your school.
  • Students in the higher grade divisions will need to copy/paste their abstract into the registration form.  250 words or less.
  • Grades 9-12 register all projects you are sending to YES Fair. There is no project limit for the High School Division

Be mindful of spelling and capitalization

  • Awards and certificates are generated from the information provided on the project registration form.
  • If a name is misspelled on the form, the student's certificate and award documents will also be misspelled.

Blind judging is in place

  • Do not put student names on the front of the project board (on the back is fine)
  • Do not put student names on the notebook (place on the back)
  • Eliminate student names from materials that will be reviewed by judges.  Placing names on the back with a sticky-note cover over the name will be fine.
