K-3 Electrical Safety

Safety is our culture

Electrical Safety Presentations

SSVEC offers electrical safety presentations for grades K-3. Presentations are usually given during the last week in April however, other appointments are available upon request.

Safety presentations can be given to all classes at the same time or given in individual classrooms.

Topics include identifying electrical hazards in the home, the dangers of water and electricity, electricity and fire hazards, and what to do if a pole or power line is on the ground.

The vast majority of electrical accidents can be prevented if children understand the dangers and are taught what steps they can take to be safe around electricity.
