2024 Washington Youth Tour Heading Out!

Our Washington Youth Tour is headed out for an amazing trip! In 2024, our cooperative students will tour the Washington Monument, the US Capitol building, the Lincoln Memorial, and the National Cathedral. Students will also have an opportunity to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian, and visit with our state representatives.

Scholarships totaling $12,000 are being awarded to the 15 area high school juniors who have been named to the 40th annual Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC) Foundation Washington Youth Tour.
