2024 Basketball Camp Flier

2024 Basketball Camp

The 2024 SSVEC Basketball Camp will be held December 14 at Buena High School in partnership with Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Vista and Positive Image Sports. There will be two sessions: 9am for ages 5 to 11, and 1pm for ages 12-17. Please note the sessions cap at 75 children. So, get registered today! Registration ends December 10th.

2024 Scholarship Recipients

Our rural students have a passion for learning! Our 2024 scholarship recipients include students from all over our service areas in southeastern Arizona. Students who are going to trade schools and traditional colleges came together to celebrate and receive their award. Congratulations 2024 Scholarship winners!

2024 Washington Youth Tour Heading Out!

Our Washington Youth Tour is headed out for an amazing trip! In 2024, our cooperative students will tour the Washington Monument, the US Capitol building, the Lincoln Memorial, and the National Cathedral. Students will also have an opportunity to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian, and visit with our state representatives.

Scholarships totaling $12,000 are being awarded to the 15 area high school juniors who have been named to the 40th annual Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC) Foundation Washington Youth Tour. Winning students will receive $1,000 scholarships and finalists in the competition will receive $500 awards.
